Taraxacum officinalis (Dandelion Root) is used to improve liver function by supporting the removal of any toxins. It is praised by herbalists in being one of the best liver tonics. In TCM, dandelion root is used to reduce fire and eliminate stagnation from the liver.
Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle) strongly indicated for those ongoing hits to the liver, a very strong and well known liver tonic that is also hepatoprotective. It is almost always indicated when the liver is under stress.
Berberis aquifolium (Oregon Grape) is a bitter tonic with mild laxative effects, it is indicated for congested livers while working to strengthen and cleanse our entire system.
Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) used in this blend specifically for relaxing our gastrointestinal tract. Relieving any cramps or digestive upsets.
Rosa spp. (Rosehips) are the fruit of the rose, and contain a high level of vitamin C. They are also a good source of folate, magnesium, potassium, and calcium.
Scoop 1-2 teaspoons into your favorite mug. Add 250ml of hot water. Let steep covered for 10-15 minutes.
